The primary responsibility of The School of Biological Sciences is to develop outstanding research and academic degree programs in modern biological sciences. The School offers undergraduate, graduate and doctoral degree programs in a number of life science related disciplines. In addition, the School provides state of the art facilities and supports the well-established research programs of its faculty. The School is organized in two divisions, the Division of Cell Biology and Biophysics and the Division of Molecular Biology and Biochemistry. The School of Biological Sciences is led by our dean, Professor Theodore C. White, Ph.D.
