- NMR data collection training for frequent users
- Collaborative structural investigations
- Collaborative NMR dynamics investigations
- Collaborative investigations of multi-component biomolecular complexes
Equipment
- An Oxford AS 600/51 14.1 Tesla actively shielded magnet
- {HCN} cryo and {HCX} RT probes)
- Four full channels with observe, pulse and decouple functions
- Two Sun Blade 1000, and three Linux-based computers. An additional Linux computer is available within the SBS.
NMR
The facility houses a new four channel Varian Inova 600 MHz NMR spectrometer with a new "cryo" probe. High resolution NMR spectroscopy is well-suited to explore biomolecular interactions. Structural and dynamic studies of proteins and protein-nucleic acid complexes ranging in size from 4-34 kDa are currently being investigated.
