Recent highlights of our faculty

Dr. Marilyn Yoder was honored as the first recipient of the Outstanding Doctoral Mentor Award on April 3, 2009. She was presented the award at the annual Community of Scholars event by the Interdisciplinary Doctoral Student Council (IDSC). Each year the IDSC accepts nominations for an Outstanding Doctoral Faculty Award and upon reading the letters of nomination received on Dr. Yoder’s behalf, voted to name a new award in her honor, the Outstanding Doctoral Mentor Award. Through collaboration, teaching, and collegiality she is distinguished among students at all levels. Dr. Yoder’s commitment to students and their development as professionals is by example and it truly is to be commended.
