Provost's Excellence in Teaching Award

Dr. Regina Grindstaff, Assistant Teaching Professor in the Division of Molecular Biology & Biochemistry was awarded the 2011 Provost's Award for Excellence in Teaching.  This is UMKC's highest honor for excellence in teaching for teaching and clinical faculty.

Dr. Grindstaff received her Ph.D. in Medicine-Physiology from the University of Missouri-Columbia.  She joined the faculty in the School of Biological Sciences in 2009.  She began teaching LSPHYS 401 Physiology the spring semester of the same year.
